About Our Area of
Norfork Lake
Even on busy holiday weekends you'll find plenty of lake space for wide-open boat cruising
and watersports like tubing, skiing, and boarding. You'll find quiet spots for fishing,
swimming, and relaxing. This is a scenic part of Norfork lake, and there are very few
buildings visible along the shoreline. If you enjoy hunting and wildlife watching the
Bennetts Point wildlife management area is right across the lake from us.
Our Map Location
We are 25 minutes from Mountain Home and 45 minutes from West Plains. The road is paved
all the way down to our docks. To locate Fout Boat Dock on a map first find the town of
Gamaliel (pronounced ga-mail-ya) on Highway 101 just south of the Arkansas/Missouri
border. Gamaliel is just north of the lake. We are on the Norfork Lake shoreline just
below the town of Gamaliel at the Gamaliel Campground. If your map shows navigation
points, we are between points 6A and 6B.
Gamaliel Campground, Swimming, Boating, and Picnicking
The Gamaliel Campground, which is owned and operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers,
has one of the flattest shoreline use areas on Norfork Lake. There are no steep,
hard-to-walk inclines. There is a public swimming beach with paved parking, a covered
pavilion, and a playground with a play station. The public boat launch is paved and has a
courtesy dock. All roads, the launch, and all parking areas are paved so you don't have to
worry about dust.

Policies
For All Water Craft Rentals |
Renter must be 18 years of age.
Gasoline and taxes not included in rental cost. Certain restrictions apply to weekly
rates. No grills. Pets with permission. Rental paid and drivers license required before
boat leaves the marina. Two hour minimum on boats. We take reservations for daily and
weekly rentals. Hourly and half day rentals are on stand by only. Prices subject to
change. |

Fout's WaterSport Store
Fout Boat Dock's store has basic sundries and groceries, ice, bait, fishing licenses,
souvenirs, ski vests, T-shirts, all sorts of water toys such as tubes, swim noodles,
kneeboards, water skis, and beach balls.

May thru September from 8:00 am - 6:00 pm 7 days a week
April & October from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm - closed on Tuesday
November thru March from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm - closed Tuesday & Wednesday
Memorial Day thru Labor Day we are open Friday & Saturday until 7:00 pm
